Okay so, I've been dying to blog about this for days, but the stress of essays has been at the forefront of every waking thought this past week, and has drained me quicker than a cheap Duracell to the point where I had a partial melt-down. I'm not going to lie, it really wasn't pretty. But! After all the sleep deprivation, I managed to get two of my essays in on time (hoorayy!), and I'm working on submitting my third as late. I'm really grateful to my friends and flatmates for comforting me as I very quickly went out of my mind, and I'm glad that now I can be the one to pay a little back as I take my turn making cups of tea and providing hugs, back rubs and various other rescue remedies. But on to the main order of business...
I just wanted to blog about a couple of the upcoming films that I'm really excited for since, believe it or not, I think the last time I payed a visit to the cinema was way back in September! I'm making it my priority to see Nine within the next couple of weeks with my sushi girls. But after that, oh my, does it get exciting! So let's start.
4. The Wolfman
I'm excited for this one mainly because it looks like it has the potential to actually be a 'good' werewolf movie, something which I don't think we've had since the American Werewolf in Paris/London days. The film sees Del Toro's character returning to his home in 1800s Blackmoor, England, having received news that his brother was brutally murdered. No prizes for guessing what did the deed. And so his Del Toro's Lawrence goes about hunting and killing the beast, but only ends up getting bitten himself. Cue: village massacres, grisly body dismorphia and a rampage in London.

3. Salt
- Dir: Philip Noyce
- Release: Columbia
- Stars of note: Angelina Jolie (she is going to carry this film by herself excellently!)
- ETR: July 23rd 2010
The film sees Jolie as a CIA officer, Evelyn Salt, who steps in to question a suspected terrorist conspiritor. During the interrogation he reveals that later the same day, there will be an attempt on the President's life by a Russian spy named, Evelyn Salt. Interesting, hmmm. Even more interesting when the seemingly not so not-shifty Salt starts to flee suspiciously, all the while rejecting outright any truth in the detainee's accusations. Hmmm... Can't wait to see how this one unfolds.

Ugh! I didn't even realise how late/early it was. Feels like I've been awake far too long again! I'll get back to finishing the rest of this count down tomorrow evening sometime after I've had some more sleep. I blame a new addiction to my Brothers & Sisters boxset. It's just too good!!!
